Eve Ashcraft provides architectural color consultation for interior and exterior environments. Her firm, Eve Ashcraft Studio, develops color plans, color samples, paint schedules and custom color formulations. Services include project and site analysis, guidance on materials and finishes, supervision of color testing, and project coordination with contractors, designers, and architects.

 
Ms. Ashcraft relies on site and project analysis and her clients’ objectives to develop color plans. Architects and designers often incorporate her services into their design teams, treating color specification as an integral part of the overall process. Her holistic approach consistently marries colors to spaces, forms, and materials, ensuring a cohesive and considered outcome.

Eve Ashcraft holds a degree in Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design. She lived and studied painting in Rome before moving to New York in 1986. She received a National Endowment for the Arts Grant in Painting in 1989 and continues to paint in her Soho studio. She has been providing color consultation services for 15 years to a wide variety of private residential, corporate, and non-residential clients. In addition to her consulting firm, Ms. Ashcraft owns and operates Brilliant Surface LLC, a customized lending library of backgrounds and objects utilized by photographers.

Ms. Ashcraft’s work has appeared in the New York Times, House & Garden, Architectural Digest, ELLE Decor, and Martha Stewart Living. She has developed corporate branding palettes, numerous private residential palettes, and The Araucana Colors and Everyday Colors paint lines for Martha Stewart Living. She enjoys her collaborative efforts with architects and designers including Architectural Research Office, Benjamin Moore & Co., G.P. Schafer III Architect, Wettling Architects, Tamarkin Co. Architects, and Christopher Maya Associates.
